2026 season

Five Friday evenings of track and field in Utrecht! In 2026, the Runnersworld Track Meetings will take place on 1 May, 22 May, 12 June, 7 August and 4 September. Because the Dutch U18 and U20 Championships are also being held at Maarschalkerweerd this year, there is one fewer meeting than usual. Due to major maintenance, Meeting 4 and possibly Meeting 5 will be held at Overvecht athletics track.

Please note that our competition office uses Seltec. You will not find us on atletiek.nu; like other competitions, our meetings are listed on atletiek.nl.

All events are offered for women and men. Field events may be mixed or divided into separate groups. Flat running events are mixed unless, for example, a women-only heat is requested for an international qualifying standard.

Track Meeting 1 - 1 May 2026 #

Location: Maarschalkerweerd athletics track.

Events: 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 100/110m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, hammer throw and seated throwing*.

Track Meeting 2 - 22 May 2026 #

Location: Maarschalkerweerd athletics track.

Events: 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, 400m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus throw and seated throwing*.

Track Meeting 3 - 12 June 2026 #

Location: Maarschalkerweerd athletics track.

Events: 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 100/110m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, javelin throw and seated throwing*.

Track Meeting 4 - 7 August 2026 #

Location: Overvecht athletics track due to maintenance at Maarschalkerweerd.

Events: 150m, 300m, 800m, 1500m, one mile, 5000m, 300m hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put and discus throw.

Track Meeting 5 - 4 September 2026 #

Location: Maarschalkerweerd athletics track. Renovation is complete.

Events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, 400m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, hammer throw and seated throwing*.

^Wheelchair races take place directly after the running events. The events will be confirmed later; requests can be sent by email.

*For seated throwing, the exact events are arranged with the athlete. Shot put and javelin are always possible; discus and club throw are available on request.
